Blind ambition

Erik weinmeyer - the blind man who climbed mt everest in 2001- spoke friday. The most profound thing he said that relates to success in Arbonne is this: Seeing is not believing, believing is seeing.
To make it to the top, we must have an unwavering belief in ourselves, our product and our company. Believing is seeing.

Cody's catwalk

Our NVP Cody was just introduced and walked across the stage. Cody's whole nation did a great job of yelling and cheering for our awesome leader and friend. Cody has set the bar for behavior and the standard for excellence for our team. All of us should be thankful for her leadership. Whoo-hoo.

Grand departure

NTC 2007 will be in Las Vegas. I look at our 13 District managers, our 1 area in qualification and myself and realize what a baby team we are. I am filled with excitement when I think of the next year of our growth. More DMs, more areas, new RVPs. More ideas, strong spirits, and life changing reasons for building with Arbonne. We are lucky and blessed to have Arbonne in our pockets... it's time to wear it on our sleeves and share it with the world.

So hot

It's grand awards nite and I am more dressed up than I was at my wedding. Our team is all glammed up. I told them we are so hot we need a theme song. We're open to suggestions.

Starbucks Hearts Arbonne

Apparently, I'm not the only gal who does Arbonne for Starbucks money. All 5 of us waited in a line that wrapped around the block for an hour and a half. My grande coffee of the day never tasted so good.

St.Louis at night

St. Louis vibrates with electic energy. Last night, downtown was packed with the Arbonne crew, about 50,000 Cardinals and Cubs fans, and several hundred high school prommers. Live music, horse drawn carriages, great restaurants, and such a good mix of people. This made for a memorable night.

Party On

The new manager celebration can be summed up very simply. Arbonne knows how to throw a party. In a room the size of 4 football fields, there were 10 chowlines, 6 bars, 4 troughs of iced sodas, water and beer. The walls were lined with western facades - a campfire, a watering hole, a saloon, lights, boots, hats, a dancefloor and thousands of Arbonnistas dancing and celebrating. I look forward to next year when our whole team goes...

John Maxwell

Leadership expert John Maxwell spoke Friday afternoon. He loves and believes Arbonne. His wife, his niece and daughter are all building Arbonne businesses. What does it take to be successful... 1. relationships 2. Equipping people 3. attitude 4. leadership. We will do a training call on John Maxwell... he is a great asset to growing any business.

Mustang Rita

One of my favorite parts of the convention has been listening to Arbonne president Rita Davenport. She was an RVP before she went to work for Arbonne. Funny. Fiesty. Full of life and fantastic. Her pearls of wisdom: If this business was easy, it'd be sleazy. Rejection happens. Get over it and don't be a wimp. Enjoy the journey... when someone tells you no to RE9 just laugh at how many wrinkles they would have in 10 years. When Rita's best friend wouldn't buy vitamins from her because she said she hated to swallow pills, Rita responded with spunk. "That's great... ours are suppositories." Laugh at the tough moments...

Cattle gates

After opening session Friday we spent an hour fast walking through a line maze 7 rows deep. It was an engineering marvel... we bought all of the new products. Our favorites so far? The mineral powder foundation - like bare minerals- and the prep and plump gloss. It'll give you Angelina Jolie lips in 10 different colors. Also, the new intelligence line is very nice.
